Pumpkin is our Whiskers of the Week!

This sweet hunk of orange gorgeousness is Pumpkin. He is about a year old and came to the shelter on June 20 via owner surrender through no fault of Pumpkin's. We adore big orange guys because they are almost always extreme love bugs who want all of your attention. Pumpkin is the purrfect example! He's also at a great age - past the crazy kitten antics, but not above some good solid play time. Pumpkin hasn't let us know how he feels about other felines; however, a slow and patient introduction is always a good plan. He is ready to go home with you - neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated appropriate to age. He is negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). He is waiting for you at Sangamon County Animal Control in Springfield, IL.
